Exceptional Hans Wegner dining set consisting of 4 CH29 Saw Buck chairs produced by Carl Hanson & Son plus an extendable “AT312” dining table produced by Andreas Tuck in the 1950s. Danish design at it’s finest! The classic CH29 dining chair, designed in 1952 by Hans Wegner, is also called ‘The Sawbuck Chair’ because of the shape of the chairs legs, which resemble the sawbucks or saw horses traditionally used by carpenters and woodcutters. The CH29 offers great comfort as well as being a distinctive and sculptural piece of furniture. The AT312 table features a rectangular top with teak veneer, additional pullout extensions, and round tapered oak legs. Stunning organic design. The set is in great condition. There are some small signs of wear, consistent with age and usage. Chairs’ dimensions 53x49x44/81cm Table’s dimensions: 140/240x90x72cm.
