House of Tall Mirrors is about imaginations. Shelves are usually fixed and static surfaces where we put objects on. The concept behind House of mirrors is to renew the common idea of shelves designing something dynamic where the objects that are put on them can take life, creating everytime something new and spectacular. House of mirrors is a collection of four shelves with a simple and architectural shape meant to create a frame around the objects that are put on them. A mirrored stainless steel sheet is fixed in the base of each shelf in order to reflect the objects that are put on them. The concave and convex surfaces of each panel allows to play with the visual distortion of the objects that are put on the shelves: the reflected images are transformed, altered and distorted everytime in new, different and infinite ways.
How Its Made
