Hikari lamps are the result of various design possibilities of paper folding. Taking care of every detail, this 100% handmade products have a particular geometric design that makes them unique. The name of these lamps comes from Japan and allude to light; Hikaru is light, Mizuki means beautiful moon and Natsuki moon glow. These three lamps use the same folding lines with equivalent angles but different repetitions.
How Its Made
All lamps are made using a mineral paper called “stone paper”, which is completely natural, recyclable, heat resistant, water repellent and durable. When the lamps are off, its geometry creates a beautiful play of lights and shadows. When they are lit, the paper shines with an elegant transparency and the object acquires its own brilliance.
